Herodes mezcal is the result of selection and coupage of the nest agave Espadin from the central valleys of Oaxaca.

Herodes - el MEZCAL

Oaxaca / reposado

The Agaves are cooked in a ground oven.once cooked, the agaves are crushed with a stone grinder and naturally ferment in wooden tanksDistillation is made on copper alembics.

Matured for 3 months in used bourbon casks and infused with macerated mole sauce.

Herodes Reposado is well balanced, fresh and herbal on the front pallet, with undertones of vanilla and tobacco. The finish is complex with hints of cacao, dark chocolate and red chili peppers.

Alcohol: 40% Alc. Vol

Origin: Oaxaca, Mexico

1½ oz. fresh lime juice


1 oz. Amaro Montenegro or Nonino

1 tsp. light agave nectar

1 large egg white

Angostura bitters and lime twist (for serving)
